1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using FaithStack ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization (such as a church, ministry, or nonprofit), you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.
2. Service Description
FaithStack provides treasury management services for religious organizations, including:
- Digital wallet creation and management on the Base blockchain network
- Acceptance of donations in USDC (USD Coin) stablecoin
- Treasury tracking and reporting
- Withdrawal and fund distribution services
- Missionary support payment processing
3. Cryptocurrency Disclosure
Important Notice About Digital Assets
Funds held through FaithStack are stored as USDC (USD Coin), a digital stablecoin. USDC is NOT legal tender and is NOT backed by the United States government.
- USDC is a stablecoin issued by Circle and is designed to maintain a 1:1 value with the US Dollar
- The value of USDC may fluctuate and is not guaranteed
- Transactions on blockchain networks are irreversible
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
4. Not a Bank
FaithStack Is Not a Bank
FaithStack is a technology platform, not a bank or financial institution. We do not:
- Accept deposits in the traditional banking sense
- Provide FDIC or SIPC insurance on any funds
- Offer interest-bearing accounts (any yield is from DeFi protocols)
- Provide investment advice or financial planning services
- Guarantee the value or availability of any digital assets
5. Fees
FaithStack charges the following fees for its services:
- Donation Processing: 1% of each donation received
- Withdrawal Fee: Network gas fees plus $1 flat fee
- Monthly Platform Fee: Free for churches under $10,000/month; 0.5% thereafter
Fees are subject to change with 30 days notice. Current fees are always displayed in your dashboard.
6. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information during registration
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Comply with all applicable laws, including tax reporting requirements
- Use the Service only for lawful purposes related to religious organization operations
- Not use the Service for money laundering, fraud, or any illegal activity
- Provide required tax documentation (EIN, 501(c)(3) status) when requested
7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FAITHSTACK SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
- Loss of funds due to blockchain network issues, smart contract bugs, or protocol failures
- Fluctuations in the value of USDC or any digital asset
- Unauthorized access to your account due to compromised credentials
- Service interruptions or downtime
- Actions of third-party service providers (Coinbase, Circle, etc.)
- Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FaithStack, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination, you will have 30 days to withdraw any remaining funds. After 30 days, unclaimed funds may be subject to escheatment laws.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
11. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.
